Three off-grid houses, a private boardroom with ocean views, a brewery and a beach within walking distance, and a sky dark enough to see the Milky Way coast to coast. Whether you're planning a leadership offsite, a wedding, or a milestone that deserves a proper setting — Aotea Great Barrier Island is built for it.

Five minutes on foot from 175° East. Some of the most remote hops in New Zealand. It's the Friday-night arrival spot. The rehearsal-dinner spot. The post-ceremony pint. The team icebreaker before the workshop starts. Whatever you need it to be.
The island kitchen doing real food well. Catering for groups of every shape — from a wedding feast for 50 to a midweek team dinner on the deck. Pre-arrange menus or work directly with their team to build something around your group.
Medlands Beach across the road — walk for an hour and not see anyone. The Hauraki Gulf's only International Dark Sky Sanctuary, which means the Milky Way actually runs coast to coast on a clear night. Tides you check on a chart instead of a phone. A moon that casts real shadows.
Aotea Brewing is 5 minutes in the other direction. You don't need a car.
The five pieces stay the same. The schedule changes. Here's how it lays out for the three things people most often bring us.
